Cook County Annuity & Benefit Fund and the Cook County Forest Preserve District Employees’ Annuity & Benefit Fund, both of Chicago, are searching for a custodian.
The board of the pension funds, which have combined assets of $11.3 billion, is searching for a firm to provide global custody and other ancillary services, according to an RFP posted on the pension funds’ website.
Bank of New York Mellon is the current custodian; whether the firm is eligible to rebid was not immediately known.
The RFP is available on the pension funds’ website. Registration is required. Proposals are due at 3 p.m. CST on Nov. 16. A timeline for a selection has yet to be determined.
Investment consultant Callan is assisting.
