Burlington (Vt.) Employees’ Retirement System is searching for an investment consultant.
The $194 million pension fund issued an RFP because of a city requirement that services are put up for bid every few years, Arthur J. Meizner, director, investment consulting, at Hooker & Holcombe Investment Advisors.
Whether current consultant Dahab Associates is invited to rebid wasn’t known.
As July 1, the actual allocation was: 31.4% domestic large-cap equities; 20.2% core fixed income; 18.5% domestic smidcap equities; 10% emerging markets equities; 9.9% international equities; 7.6% real estate; 1.4% timber; and 1% private equity.
The RFP is available on the city’s website. Proposals are due at 4 p.m. EDT on Oct. 8. A selection is expected by Nov. 27.
