The last date for the submission of bids is September 24, 2020
The Rajasthan Electronics and Instruments Limited (REIL) has issued a notice inviting tender for installing 575 kW of grid-connected rooftop and small solar projects in district court campuses of Uttarakhand.
Besides the supply of balance of system (BoS), installation, testing, net metering, and commissioning of the systems, the contract will also include warranty and maintenance for five years.
REIL is a joint venture between the government of India and the government of Rajasthan. The last date for the submission of bids is September 24, 2020, the opening of technical bids will take place on September 25, 2020.
Interested bidders will have to submit ₹150,000 (~$2,043) as the earnest money deposit (EMD). Bidders from categories like micro and small enterprises (MSEs) are exempt from paying the EMD.
REIL will supply the solar PV modules and the inverters for solar power projects. The tentative list of the proposed plan is given below:
To take part in the bidding process, the bidder should have experience in supplying BoS and installation and commissioning of a cumulative capacity of 100 kW grid-connected solar power projects in the last three financial years.
For the financial criteria, the tender stated that the average annual turnover of the bidders should be ₹5 million (~$68,122) in the previous three financial years.
Uttarakhand is gradually expanding the usage of solar energy across the state to become more sustainable.
Last month, Central Electronics Limited (CEL), a public sector enterprise, issued a tender for 2.285 MW of grid-connected rooftop solar systems at the G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and technology in the state of Uttarakhand.
Notably, back in 2018, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology in Uttarakhand’s Pantnagar town had tendered a 5 MW grid-connected rooftop solar project. Central or state government empaneled channel partners could participate in this tender.
