BERNARDS TOWNSHIP BOARD OF EDUCATION REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR FOOD AND MANAGEMENT SERVICES June 11, 2020 NOTICE is hereby given that the Bernards Township Board of Education is accepting sealed proposals for Food Service Management until 11:00 a.m. on July 2, 2020 at the office of the School Business Administrator. Due to the Covid-19 public health emergency, proposals will be opened virtually using Zoom. All Request for Proposal (RFP) holders shall be sent an email providing the meeting ID and password in order to view the RFP opening. Proposals must be submitted on the required forms, in a sealed container labeled Food and Management Services Contract and delivered to the Office of the School Business Administrator at: Bernards Township Board of Education Attn: Mr. Roderic McLaughlin, Business Administrator 101 Peachtree Road Basking Ridge, NJ 07920 The Board assumes no responsibility for proposals mismailed or misdirected. All interested Contractors are encouraged to attend the pre-proposal conference and tour to be held via an on line format on June 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Participation is strongly recommended. Due to the COVID-19 public health emergency tours/walk throughs of the schools shall not be permitted. Upon release of this RFP, all Proposer communications concerning this RFP must be directed in writing to the Business Administrator as the only authorized contact person no later than 4:00 p.m. on June 19, 2020. Any contact with persons other than the Business Administrator, including contact with any elected, appointed official or employee of the school district regarding this RFP may result in disqualification. The contract shall be awarded to the Proposer whose proposal is determined to be the most advantageous to the District, price and other factors considered. The contract will be awarded in accordance with the Competitive Contracting provisions of the Public School Contracts Law, N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq. (the Law) The Bernards Township Board of Education reserves the right to waive any and all immaterial guidelines and requirements and to reject all Proposals as permitted by the Law at N.J.S.A 18A:18A-22.
