The City of Winter Garden, Florida is soliciting proposals from qualified real estate developers (“Developers”) that are interested in purchasing land and constructing a multi-story mixed-use development on City-owned property located in Winter Garden’s Historic Downtown District at 109 South Boyd Street.
In selecting a Developer to purchase land and construct a mixed-use development utilizing City-owned property, the City shall consider such factors as the qualifications and past experience of the Development Team, the quality and comprehensiveness of the design proposal, the anticipated value of the proposed development to the City, and the Developer’s ability to meet financial and logistical development obligations.
The Request for Proposals (RFP) document is available for viewing and downloading on the City’s website (http://www.cwgdn.com/business/bids/). Copies of the RFP are also available at City Hall, 300 West Plant Street, Winter Garden, FL, 34787. Proposals from interested Developers must be submitted no later than 2:00 pm on February 15, 2016. Any submittal packages received after the above-noted time will not be accepted under any circumstances. Any uncertainty regarding the time a submittal package is received will be resolved against the respondent.
Developers interested in submitting a proposal for a new downtown mixed-use development at 109 South Boyd Street shall submit six (6) bound copies and one (1) unbound copy of their proposal to the City of Winter Garden Planning and Zoning Department to the attention of:
