Biographies

Dr. John Cameron
Chairman and President

Dr. Cameron has a long and distinguished career in nuclear physics, medical technology, applications of accelerators and R&D administration. Dr. Cameron recently retired from Indiana University where he was Professor of Physics and Director of the Indiana University Cyclotron Facility. He played a pivotal role in the conception of MPRI, leading it from initial funding through construction. Dr. Cameron has directed major multidisciplinary research and development institutes for the past 20 years and has received over $200 million in grants and contracts. He has served on numerous advisory and review boards for U.S. and foreign research agencies. He received his undergrad degree in 1962 from Queens University, Northern Ireland with first class honors and his PhD degree from UCLA in 1967.

Hadley Ford
Chief Executive Officer and Director

Mr. Ford is a finance veteran with more than 16 years of experience raising and deploying capital for a variety of service and technology businesses. Mr. Ford was most recently a Managing Director and Head of the East Coast Technology Group at Banc of America Securities with responsibility for some of the firm’s most important technology relationships. Prior to joining Banc of America, Mr. Ford was the CFO of Clearway Technologies where he was responsible for financing, budgeting, accounting, controls and strategic discussions. He was a Vice President in the Communications, Media and Entertainment Group at Goldman Sachs before Clearway and served on the boards of Goldman portfolio companies I-NET and Concentric Networks. Mr. Ford graduated summa cum laude with a B.S.B.A. from Boston University and received his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

Niek Schreuder
Senior Vice President of Medical Physics and Technology

One of the foremost medical physicist pioneers in the world, Mr. Schreuder was Director of Medical Physics at Midwest Proton Radiotherapy Institute (“MPRI”) where he was responsible for all medical physics related matters, including training Medical Physics interns. Mr. Schreuder also served as the Medical Physicist and Project Manager for the Indiana University (“IU”) Cyclotron Facility where he led the medical physics design effort associated with MPRI. Prior to MPRI and IU, he was Division Head of the Operations and Development Division of the Medical Radiation Group at Ithemba Laboratories for Accelerator Sciences (“tLabs”) in South Africa. At tLabs, Mr. Schreuder developed the computerized patient positioning system for proton therapy using a commercial robotic arm. Mr. Schreuder earned a BSc with honors in radiation physics, a Diploma in Datametrics, and a MSc in physical sciences in medical sciences from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.

John Henderson
Chief Operating Officer

John Henderson

Formerly the President of George B. H. Macomber Company (“Macomber”), a $225 million Boston-based service company with approximately 150 employees, Mr. Henderson has extensive experience in planning and corporate development. Over his 14 year tenure at Macomber, he grew company revenues fivefold to become one of the leading providers of early facility planning to the major institutions and corporations in the Northeast. Mr. Henderson planned and developed over 2 million square feet of healthcare planning, over 3 million square feet of fast track and technical industry construction and over 1 million square feet of technically complex interdisciplinary research facilities. Mr. Henderson earned a BA in English Literature at Northwestern University and his MBA at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
